Anti-Graft Drive in Bangladesh- halted at the corridor of High Court August 20, 2008

The much -discussed corruption cases of the politicians, businessmen and beucrates in Bangladesh have been halted at the corridor of the High Court, the detail of which is focused in the headline news of Daily Star on 20th August 2008 titled ‘Graft trial caught in HC triangle’ and published on the same day in Prothom Alo running as ‘Bail to 76 and 47 corruption cases suspended by the HC’.

A follow-up report is published in the daily star on the following day titled ‘Anti-Graft drive-2’.
In the meantime, Supreme Court returned back the appealed cases to the High Court to be solved there.
